Wikipedia’s Custom Books

Wikipedia is partnering with PediaPress to publish books based on Wiki content. Paperbacks are available now, soon to be joined by hardcovers. Pricing varies, starting at $8.90 for certain paperbacks. It’s fairly simple, using a “create a book” button on the left sidebar in the print and export section. There’s also a special help page.

“. . . I was tired of reading on the screen. I believe that in this hectic age people cherish their offline moments more and more. You wish you could access the most extensive and up-to-date knowledge in offline moments – on the train, at the seafront, in your bed,” PediaPress managing director Heiko Hees said.
